Hi! I’m Angela

I am an RN with over twenty five years of nursing experience and a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach with expertise in health behavior change. This winning combination allows me to help you create a life of maximum health and vitality. I enjoy working with clients who seek to live with greater confidence and peace in leading a healthier lifestyle. I have expertise in working with individuals desiring to reprioritize themselves and their health at midlife. I have supported clients in improving their nutrition, managing diabetes, developing sustainable stress management strategies, navigating better sleep habits, successfully incorporating more movement and exercise into daily activities, and establishing mindfulness practices for those desiring to live each day with more intention.

I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and am a Certified Integrative Health Coach through Duke Integrative Medicine. Additionally, I am a Holistic Stress Management Instructor and Reiki Master Practitioner. From my own life experience, I know a balanced lifestyle approach builds health and resilience. I believe when we align our everyday actions with our vision of optimal health, great things can happen, and I bring this philosophy to my coaching practice.

Family

I’m happily married to my best friend’s brother, mother of an adult daughter, and mom to my senior dog, Daisy, who still gives the best unconditional love. She teaches me life lessons daily.

Growing Up

I was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. I am the youngest of five girls, and I was affectionately called “The Caboose” by my dad.

When Not Coaching

I enjoy curling up with a good book and a cup of tea with Daisy by my side, experimenting with healthy recipes in the kitchen, going for a hike or run in the great outdoors and traveling.

Education

I am a Certified Integrative Health Coach through Duke Integrative Medicine and a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach. I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, am a Reiki Master Practitioner and Certified Holistic Stress Management Instructor.

My Wellness Journey

I have been a wellness enthusiast all my life. My career as a nurse has been deeply fulfilling, yet I have been searching for a way to help people improve their health and well-being that incorporates my love of fitness, holistic health and preventative medicine. As a growth seeker and lifelong learner, I decided to make a pivot at midlife and follow my passion which is helping people transform their health by making lifestyle changes which can allow them to get to the root cause of health issues. I have found my happy place in health coaching, my passion is sharing this knowledge with others so they can become the healthiest version of themselves.

  • Angela's health coaching skills were transformational for me as I recovered from a sports related injury.   I completely ruptured my Achilles Tendon, had surgery and was non weight bearing for nearly six weeks after surgery.  As I started to resume limited exercise and recover from the emotional and physical repercussions of this mobility limiting injury, I utilized the principles and the guidance from Angela’s consultations.
